Gasser Magazine returned to OHIO!  The “Gasser Appreciation Race” was part of the festivities at Summit Motorsports Park’s “Blue Suede Cruise”! on July 19-21, 2013.
With over 1,000 pre-registered street rods was a big event.
Each day participants got to make fun runs with their street rods on the track!
Then the real nostalgia race cars came out in the afternoon!  With our Gassers, there were Super Stocks, the NDRL with cars in the low 7.00’s, 2 Hot Rod classes, and the Nostalgia AA/GS Gassers!  Summit Motorsports Park is one of the best facilities in the world, and they had so much to offer.  This event had a large manufacture midway with swap meet and car corral.
For pre-registered participants there was a huge BBQ on Friday evening!  Saturday evening everyone relaxed to the great music of Jay and the Americans and then a great firworks display! It was like one big street party!  Gasser Magazine’s participation in this event was our way of showing our appreciation to you, our members.  Each member attending got $20 off racer registration for this eveny using the registration in the Spring edition of Gasser Magazine!  There was a trophy and purse race at this event!
